Ron Belling was a modest man of many talents whose boyhood interest in aviation grew into a lifelong passion. Through years of research, sketching and flying, he became an authority on aeronautics and recorded South Africa’s aviation history in paintings that also reflect the changing landscapes of Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape.
